Transparent Butterfly

I was a little pressed for time and didn't quite get a nice photo of this (nothing new there!)
But this butterfly was double stamped on some acetate packaging, with archival ink and fussy cut around. It's a side view butterfly so I needed to stamp it twice to get the whole butterfly. It's adhered to the itself with some glossy accents and then to the card with the same.
You might be able to tell of it's 3D effect by the shadow it's casting.
It's dabbed with alcohol inks in blues and metallic silver.
Heart embossing folder creates the background
and the sentiment stamped in black archival ink and then some blue ink.

  1. This card is so lovely! I absolutely adore the finished project and love how you did a side-view butterfly, which aren't as common. You did a great job of making it dimensional and it really does look like it's floating off the page. I also like the embossed background you made and the colors pop with such energy against the white. Thank you so much for your clever interpretation of our "transparent" theme and for sharing your talents with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog!
