Traveling NW

Using an embossing folder and cream colored paper, for this compass...then using my embossing pen I inked up the raised portions and then heat embossed in Copper. Vintage ink to add some of the aged look.
A Tim Holtz spinner completes the compass in the card below.

I also used the chevron 12' embossing folder in brown paper, and just cut down to fit the card.

Spellbinders Fleur De Lis frames the computer generated sentiment.....also heat embossed in copper around the edges.

Brown silk ribbon to complete the card.

Botanicals - Flower nest

I didn't have to do much to create this card....all the work was done already in designer paper. All I added was the sentiment, and some punched flowers for the corners....and some background paper. Great for those last minute requests!

Botancial - 2 versions

Both designs the same, except the second card was done using some foam dots to raise the filigree layer above the background. It enhanced the design of the die a lot more.

HeartFelt Creations: Vintage Floret stamp - colored with copic markers and fussy cut around

For the olive green frame, I cut the large die from the tranquil moments and fussy cut around the border, just inside the dotted holes. And then added a little penned stitching.

Some stamens for the center and liquid pearls for accents. And a small ribbon to finish it off.

Grad Hat Cards

This cute little Graduation Hat is made from a Diamond Fold card.

Using a 4 x 12 " piece of heavy cardstock/designer paper.

I made the tassels myself using embroiders thread.

And added a gorgeous embellishment to secure the tassle with some glue.

Computer generated sentiments and stamped with stars in gold metallic ink.

The scroll was fussy cut from another digi stamp, which you can see here and more grad hats here:

There's room for a small message...die cut from one of the Spellbinders Fleur De Lis die

Sometimes it not a guy girl thing...but the receivers favourite color. And then sometimes you can accommodate the school colors into the hats.
Note the play on words: ConGRADulations.

The topper here is a botton I found in my stash...it could actually be an antique button. I just snipped off the little ring on the opposite side and glued it onto the hat. The blue colors where a little dark for my likings, so I added some wee little butterflies stamped in archival white.

M for Mauve

I can't tell you how much I love the Heartfelt Creations line. Gorgeous dies, gorgeous stamps, gorgeous paper. I can't have enough!
This is their Decorative Blossoms corner die in Mauve cardstock
Embellished with some mauve Liquid Pearls.
Vintage Floret Stamp. Stamped in Archival ink, and colored with Copic Markers.
The center pieces are punched in Mauve cardstock and embellished with liquid pearls in yellow.
The butterfly actually came from one of my Mother's Day gifts and somehow made it's way over to my art table. It matched up perfectly, so it found a new home on my sister's card.
The ribbon is a Tim Holtz ribbon, dipped in Velvet Distress Ink for some color.
The background was embossed with Cuttlebug's Poppy folder.

Flowers and Fences

This is a large card,  one sheet of card stock folded in half.
I'm a big fan of my new embossing folder from Spellbinders. (ESD-006)
I love it's deep emboss without the tearing of the paper. Nice soft edges. Beautiful.

I hand painted the mauve roses and leaves, fussy cut around them and glittered them up with Stickles.
The fence is an svg cut on my Cricut.

I embossed 2 pieces of white cardstock, fussy cut around the baroque frame and used some foam dots to layer it on top of itself. And some glitter to sparkle it up.
The sentiment is computer generated.
A double bow to finish it off

5 Little Bird Cages

I just think this svg Bird Cage file is absolutely adorable.
You can find it here on Heather's Blog
It cut nice, scored nice and was easy to put together.
All I had to do was add some svg cut flowers, some punched flowers both of which where embellished with pearls or liquid pearls and a bit of distress inks around the edges.
On one of the bird cages I used Heartfelt Creations Vintage flower stamp and fussy cut around each one. They are colored with copic markers.
The only left to do was stuff them with some tissue and tie the roof together with the ribbons.

After making a few I discovered that I could glue the roof together because the botton side of the box fit together without using any glue....leaving a way to get into the prize in the box. Altho it would have to be a very light object.  I used one of them to put a Gift Card in it.

I've got 5 designs to show you....
