There's a bit of Spring in the air....at least in my card....not outside my window!!!
I soooo love the idea of these hinged cards- using my dies.
I'm having a bit of trouble getting consistently clean cuts with this die at the moment. I just keep at it until I get a good one. A solution is on the way so I can, and will continue to create these cards. I trust the company and have received awesome service about it's replacement.
The stamp is from Just Rite and colored with copic markers with a bit of glitter glue.
The green rose is hand rolled, the blue ones where bought.
Leafy die and double bowed bow.
Second die cut layer is adhered with foam dots for dimension
Challenge: Just Rite: Spring is in the Air
Another beautiful card! Thanks for sharing again with us at JustRite Inspiration ;-)

ReplyDeleteHi Flora...I sent you an email! Laura
DeleteThanks for all the info. I am thinking that I have to go out and purchase that die.....I hope to meet you at one of your sales. Are you going to be at the June 1 sale at Sinclair Secondary School?
DeleteI have just recieved the card you made for me as requested by Linda M. Thank you so much for the beautiful work on this card. The rolled flowers are very special, it is an art that I have not mastered yet .... maybe with a LOT more practice I could master that art.
ReplyDeleteYou're very welcome Flora. She wanted something special for you and I was happy to be part of it. It's all a labour of love, and one I'm sure practice will speed you along to your liking. I'll be posting your card soon here on my blog. (click on the title Laura's Papercuts and Paintings and it will reload the blog to most recent posts ) :) Happy Birthday!
