One for One Direction
No really....a friend of mine won a trip from Toronto to Ireland
to meet her most favourite boy band ever!!!
Imagine her delight!!
So she asked me to make them a card.
Imagine MY delight!!
She gave the card to their security guy backstage at the concert.
So the front of the card 'brick embossed,' represents/mimics, their latest
album cover along with their images with our Toronto baseball jerseys,
cut out and glued on with foam dots.
A Simon Says Stamp die and my own hand written attempt to match
their One Direction font, glued to one side of the card.
A fancy heart stamp, topped with some shiny blue perfect pearls
and a moving spinner. Also arranged on one side of the card.
Inside is a flap to lift up, to represent our Rogers Stadium retractable roof. A photo of the opened rooftop itself, glued on.
This time black 'brick embossed' cardstock adhered to both sides.
With an image she took while at the concert here in Toronto,
some stickles to make the fireworks sparkle.
It'd be nice to know if they actually got the card. But no way of knowing.
My friend had a great weekend in Ireland, with her Mom and Dad and a backstage meet and greet, photos, with an unforgettable up and close, personal view of the concert!
