I won this stamp so I thought I might honour it by pushing the envolope a little. So with my cricut and my software program I got to work. I started with a font I liked for the "BBQ". Flipped it and welded it to get it into the shape of a card. Then repeated it and 'shadowed' it in pink cardstock. If you like the stamp you can find it in one of my older posts for it's weblink. I used distress inks to paint in the image. An idea I got from the Simon says Stamp blog: http://simonsaysstampblog.blogspot.com/2011/06/watercoloring-with-hero-arts.html
I have often used the technique for patching up missed spots on the stamp, but never thought to paint with it. I suppose, with a little more practice, I might just get it looking more and more like copic markers.
The only real clitch I had was that the stamp had to cover up the middle parts of the BB in BBQ. So the whole idea may have been lost.....???
