Merry Christmas - 3 Altered Frames

Happy 11 11 11 everyone! Was it lucky for you?
It was a typical day for me....crafting, crafting, crafting!

All 3 of these frames are recycled. The middle one came with the hanger, bamboo mat background (which is pretty much hidden now) and some big metal leaf in the middle. The other two were plain old brown wooden frames with a some pretty bland drawings inside. So out went the leaf and the two photos. It was framed with a gully that was a perfect fit for some gold, round ribbon to place inside.

The only thing I added to the larger frame itself was the metallic ribbon around the frame. Conveniently, it came with a grove just the perfect side for the ribbon. Then designed the artwork inside. Dear Santa was heat embossed with pure white powder, a cricut cut poinsetta and paper frames inside.

I painted the brown frames to try and match the color of the bigger frame as best I could, from what paint I had on hand. Then used some of Ranger's crackle paint to roughen it up a bit. The cricut cut all the papers inside, including the poinsettia - which was stylus'd, inked and some stickles was also added to sparkle it up. The Santa, Reindeer and Snowman tags were all purchased as is from Dollarama....which made the finishing touch easy peasy!
